Tudor Calin

I was born in Romania and have been living in the beautiful Rhine Valley for about 7 years now. Here I work as a metalworker and enjoy every hour in my own little studio.

As a young man I worked in Italy as a stonemason and bricklayer. That's when I realized that I was more fascinated by stone as a material for creative work than building a house with stones. A few years later I returned to Romania and trained as a hairdresser and masseur. In my free time I worked on my small candle factory, which not only gave me joy but also gave me the financial means to open a clothing boutique. What remains is the joy of beauty and creative design.

In the silence of my refuge, L'Atelier Calin, my true calling unfolds - not as an artist in the traditional sense, but I see myself as a sculptor and creative creator. For me, this place is more than a studio, for me it is my inner home, because every creation carries a deep meaning and story.
